Nordisk *Lite product family offer cost effective solutions to help airlines reduce fuel cost and harmful emission. IATA figures show a typical fuel burn of 4% of weight carried per flying hour. For one aircraft carrying 250 kg additional weight in heavy ULD this means 100 kg of fuel burn and over 300 kg of CO2 emissions in a 10 hour flight, or 50,000 kg of fuel and over 150,000 kg of CO2 in a typical year.
